The Friends of the North Baltimore Public Library will be holding their Annual meeting on Monday, January 11, at 7 pm, in the Wolfe Community Room.
All members are welcome to come and share their thoughts and ideas for the upcoming year.
Anyone wanting to become a member may do so during library hours at the Adult circulation desk.
The annual meeting will review the membership drive and book sales. The group will also get a report of projects completed during the past year and decide on projects for this coming year. All members are welcomed to the meeting, which will last about an hour.
The Friends of the North Baltimore Public Library are accepting new members and the renewals of past members.
All members were sent a membership reminder and form. If you were a member and have not turned in your membership for 2016, it is not too late. And if you’ve lost your form, extra forms are available. Membership fees are taken at the main circulation desk. We also have thank you gifts available when you pay your membership.
The Friends of the North Baltimore Public Library was created in 2009. The friends help by volunteering time and by giving monetary donations that add to the library’s collection, and support the many programs for the community to enjoy.
The friends helped to provide Wi-Fi at the North Baltimore Library and have helped provide updated technology over the years. The friends host two book sales each year. This year’s book sales will be in early April and in early October.
There are five different membership levels. Individual memberships start at just $10 and come with a membership gift and early access to the annual book sales.
We invite everyone to come to the North Baltimore Public Library for more information on memberships and see what all the Friends have done over the years.
