G. Dale Tefft, 79, of McComb passed away on June 19, 2019 at 5:23 p.m., at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
He was born on February 16, 1940 in Toledo,OH to the late Floyd and Margaret (Housebeck) Tefft. He married Sharon Rader on August 4, 1958, and he preceded her in death on May 11, 2019.
Dale is survived by his son, Ron (Jennifer) Tefft of McComb; his brother, Floyd Tefft of Curtice, OH; his grandson, Nicholas Tefft.
He was preceded in death by his son, Dale Allen Tefft; his brothers:
Donald, William, Richard, Robert and Raymond; his sisters: Betty Pompelli, Rosie Wells and Anna Mae Purtee.
Dale was retired from Toledo Overseas Terminal. He loved gardening and sharing the fruits of his labor with all his neighbors.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 23, 2019, at
SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, where visitation will be held 2 hours (12:00-2:00 p.m.) prior to the service.
Pastor Bill Cook officiating. Burial will be in Bethel/Ten Mile Cemetery.
