George E. Snyder, Sr., 68, of Genoa and formerly of North Baltimore, died at 7:13 p.m., Sunday, November 29, 2015, at his residence. He was born on
September 4, 1947, in Findlay to the late Lincoln L. and Betty G. (Hosler) Snyder. He married Nancy Spurr on May 31, 1981, and she survives.
George is also survived by his son, George E. “Gene” (Amber) Snyder, Jr. of Genoa; his daughters: Mindy (Kevin) Meggitt of North Baltimore and
Jeaninne (Kevin) Curley of Grand Rapids, OH; his brother, James Snyder of North Baltimore; his grandchildren: Makenna, Sydney, Chuck, Tori, Austin,
Brandon, Kiara, Dane, Nathan, Rainy and Bo.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Harry “Tob” Snyder; and his sisters: Juanita Reichenbach and Joan Snyder.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 3, 2015, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, where full military rites
will be conducted by the North Baltimore American Legion Post 539,with Pastor Ralph Mineo officiating. Burial will be private.
George was a U.S. Veteran having served our country during the Vietnam War.
