Gladys M. Baney, 81, of Hoytville, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
She was born on January 10, 1940, in North Baltimore to the late Jessie and Blanche (Winkleman) Bear. She married Clarence Baney and he preceded her in death.
Gladys is survived by her son, Dave Baney of North Baltimore; daughters: Dorothy (Albert) Bear of Deshler, Kandee St. Clair of Wayne and Mary Baney of Toledo; niece, Rita; brothers: Albert Bear of Deshler and Robert Bear of North Baltimore; sisters: Barbara Bloom of Hoytville, Lucille Thompson of FL and Rosemarie Hunt of North Baltimore; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Shawn Baney; longtime companion, John “Jack” Miller; brothers: Ed and Richard Bear; sisters: Rozella Grant, Susie Bear, Pearl Bear and Irene Bear.
Gladys was a homemaker.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 7, 2021, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, where visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. and 12-2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore.
