NORTH BALTIMORE GLEANER ARBOR #461
On Sunday May 3, 2015 the North Baltimore Gleaner Arbor held a “Join Hands” event with Klassy Kids 4-H Club at the North Baltimore Library.
The intent of “Joins Hands” is to create an adult and youth partnership where the youth pick the project and the arbor provides support. This year 50 adult and youth “Joined Hands”.
The event kicked off with prayer by Bob Place, the arbor’s chaplain, and a pizza party.
Following lunch several craft project were completed:
- Stepping stones were created for the Powell School Memory Garden.
- Coffee filter butterflies were created to decorate the Briar Hill Health Campus.
- Sun catchers were painted to also decorate the Briar Hill Health Campus.
Checks were presented to Hannah & Grant Betts (4-H Camp) and to Klassy Kids 4-H.
A big thank you goes out to the leaders of Klassy Kids for the great projects, the parents for sharing their kids with us and to both groups for creating such beautiful artwork.
