On Saturday April 23, Gleaner Arbor #461 hosted a Benevolent Outreach Activity at Good Shepherd UM Church. The intent of the activity is to invite members of one’s community to partake in a social event or service project.
The NB Cub Scouts joined the Gleaner Arbor to make thirteen twin size fleece blankets for the Fire Relief Foundation in Findlay. There were so many people helping that it only took an hour and fifteen minutes to finish them. The scouts made some amazing head bands and scarves our of the scrap material.

Prior to a pizza party a check was presented to the Cub Scouts for their summer swim party.
Everyone had a great time for a great cause.
Gleaner can be found in action again on Sunday May 15 at the NB Public Library. They will “Join Hands” with Klassy Kids 4H to make various craft projects for the Briar Hill Nursing Home.
