On Thursday, October 11 Gleaner NB Arbor hosted a pizza party for the Liberty Benton junior high cross country teams. Runners started at Coach Swope’s house and ran into Findlay to enjoy pizza, drinks and a cookie cake.
Two days later both teams would end their regular season by earning 2nd place at the Blanchard Valley Conference meet held at Owens Community College in Findlay.
Gleaners will meet again at Craig & Elaine Swope’s on November 16 at 6pm to plan the events and donations for 2019.
