Church news for Sunday, May 17, 2015
Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist will celebrate Ascension Sunday on May 17, 2015 with worship beginning at 10:15 am.
Guest preacher, Emma Geis will share with us the story of Jesus’ ascension from Luke 24:44-53. Ms. Geis is a student at the University of Findlay, studying physical therapy and religious studies.
Sunday School for youth and adults is held at 9:15 am, and during worship following the children’s moments for elementary school age children. Please plan to join us!
Other activities at the church this week include choir practice each Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm, and the Women of Faith on Thursday, May 21 at 9:00 am at the Iron Skillet Restaurant.
You are also invited to join us as we host the North Baltimore High School Class of 2015 Baccalaureate Service on Monday, May 18, at 7:00 pm.
