Habitat for Humanity open house in North Baltimore 

[BOWLING GREEN, OH] (June 20, 2017)— Habitat for Humanity of Wood County is hosting an open house for their recently renovated home on Saturday July 22nd from 2-4 PM. The address of the home is 106 Poplar St. North Baltimore, OH 45872. The house is a 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom ranch, approximately 1,100 square feet.

Habitat for Humanity of Wood County is seeking applicants now for this home in North Baltimore, Ohio. There will be applications available at the open house. To be eligible, a family must desire to live in North Baltimore, OH. Additionally, the family’s income must be between 30% – 60% of the area median income (e.g. gross annual income of $18,840 – $37,680 for a family of four). Applicants should be able to pay an affordable monthly mortgage payment. Most Habitat homeowners pay between $450 – $550 per month.

Homebuyer families must have a need for adequate shelter, the ability to pay an affordable mortgage, and a willingness to partner with Habitat. All partner families contribute hours of “sweat equity,” where they spend time working on construction of their own and others’ Habitat homes, helping with other Habitat projects, and taking financial and homeownership education classes.
