Hammer & Kuhlman Acquire Thompson Law Office

Attorney George Thompson is excited to announce that upon his retirement, his law office and practice have been acquired by Attorneys Jim Hammer, Joel Kuhlman and Cory Kuhlman.

Hammer and both Kuhlmans have an established practice in Bowling Green, but look forward to also having an office in North Baltimore that will offer legal services to that community and surrounding areas.

Thompson has practiced law in North Baltimore since 1976, and it was important to him that his law firm would be continued in North Baltimore and offer personal, professional attention to the legal matters of his clients.

The address of the law office will continue at 119 East Broadway, in North Baltimore and the office telephone number will remain 419-257-3121.  The name of the practice will be Hammer & Kuhlman, with Thompson having an “Of Counsel” standing with the firm.

Office hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8:30 to noon on Friday and other times by appointment.

Thompson will be active to assist his clients during the transition of ownership.

The Hammer & Kuhlman law firm will offer a general practice of law which includes real estate and title insurance, estate planning and probate, accident and injury cases, dissolution/divorce, criminal matters, collections, income tax preparation and juvenile law.

An Open House is set for March 17, 2016 from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at the attorney’s North Baltimore office.  The public is cordially invited to stop by for refreshments and to meet the members of the law firm.

  1. Congratulations to you, George! The same to Leslie! And congratulations to Nancy Wymer, too! Your retirement, George, marks the end of an Era. Forty years of a distinguished law career is something to be very proud of, an accomplishment that few can lay claim to. Thank you so much for the excellent service you have provide for all those people these many years. Thank you, too, for the uncommon generosity you have displayed, in many forms, including donating so much of your time and attention to things important to the citizens of North Baltimore and Wood County. May you and Leslie and Nancy and Jim live long and well!
