The Village of North Baltimore, in Wood County, is seeking qualified candidates for the full-time position of Village Administrator. The Village Administrator manages the day-to-day operations of all Village departments, except the Police, Fire and EMS Departments. The Administrator oversees the Superintendent of the Village’s Water Treatment Plant and Waste Water Treatment Plant as well as the Superintendent of the Department of Public Works. Will seek out and submit grant applications. Will set goals, objectives, and evaluate the performance for all departments under their supervision. Will authorize expenditures and operate within the budget set by the Village Council. Review all zoning applications and answer all zoning questions within the Village. The Village Administrator is also appointed to several committees and will attend various committee meetings and Council meetings. Experience in creating and following budgets, managing personnel and large projects, and public administration. Qualified candidates will have at least a high school diploma, 4 years minimum job experience in a similar field with secondary education preferred.
