Joseph Carens, Professor of Political Science at the University of Toronto, will give a public lecture entitled “Immigration Controversies: Migrants, Refugees and Open Borders” at 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 16th, 115 Olscamp Hall at Bowling Green State University. Carens will examine the ethical issues surrounding immigration policies.
The talk will be based on Carens’s book, The Ethics of Immigration, which examines the ethical issues behind governments’ response to mass migration and the recent refugee crisis. The talk is free and open to the public.
