Invitation to Participate in a Research Project
Dear Residents,
You are invited to participate in the research project, “Aging in Place to Enable Optimal Aging in Community: A Need Assessment among Older Adults in Wood County, Ohio.”
This study looks at how you define aging in place, what are the needs and challenges to live at home while you age, your quality of life, and general information about you. Our study aims to better understand 
what your needs and challenges are when you live at home and develop programs and resources to help older adults age optimally in place.
Participation consists of completing a questionnaire and attending one 50- minute focus group. We are also willing to meet you individually depending upon your personal preferences or physical conditions that may hinder you from traveling outside your home. In that case, you will be asked to fill out the same questionnaire and discuss the same questions as the focus group does, only on a one-on-one base. Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. All focus groups will start at 12:45pm and be completed by 2:15pm.
We welcome your participation! If you want to participate, please contact the senior center location to register. You will be asked to sign an Informed Consent form prior to the group.
