James L. Carrier 74,

James L. Carrier 74, of Findlay, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017.

He was born on May 1, 1942 in Lee County, Virginia the late Arthur L. and Iona (Long) Carrier. James married Wilma Jean Carrier and she preceded him in death on August 1, 2014.

James was a HAM radio operator for almost 40 years. He enjoyed playing guitar, was an electronics enthusiast, and was a journeyman electrician. James was also a member of the IBEW Local 1907.

James is survived by his sons, Stephen Carrier of McComb, Ohio, and Lonnie (Lisa) Carrier of Custar, Ohio; daughter, Pamela Carrier of Findlay, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Christopher (Tiffany) Carrier, Lonnie Jr, Adam, Jake, Logan, and Bella Carrier, Gregory Rader, Stephany (Desmond) Thompson, Megan (Brandon) McAfee, and Brittany (Joe) McPherson; and 8 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brother, Dewey Carrier of North Baltimore, Ohio.

Friends and family may visit on Monday, January 30, 2017 from 10:30 “” 11:30 a.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500).

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the conclusion of visitation with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. Interment will follow in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore, Ohio. Memorial contributions in James’s name may be made to the family in c/o Hufford Family Funeral Home.
