Jeanne Chapman, 89, of North Baltimore, died at 10:25 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015, at The Heritage Corner in Bowling Green. She was born on
June 30, 1925, in Toledo to the late Clarence W., Sr. and Esther M.(Keinath) Curson. She married George W. Chapman, Sr. on September 29,
1946, and he preceded her in death in August of 1986.
Jeanne is survived by her sons: George W. Chapman, Jr. of CA and Robert Chapman of Waterville; her daughters: Karen (Jerry) Parker of Broomfield,
CO, Gloria (Gary) Schoenborn of Hanford, CA, Cheryl (Carl) Lewis of McComb, Margaret (Ron) Bean of North Baltimore and Melissa Chapman of
Cygnet; her grandchildren: Jason, Sara, Jacob, Michael, Ty (Ashley), Kevin and Derek; and her great-grandson, Brayden. She was preceded in death by her brother, Clarence Curson, Jr.; and her granddaughter, Kari Chapman.
Jeanne retired from R.C.A./G.E. She was a member of the North Baltimore American Legion Post 539 Auxiliary, Eastern Stars #265 and the Ladies
Shrine. Jeanne loved gardening, reading, doing puzzles, but her greatest love in life was her family.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 22, 2015, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, with Pastor Ralph Mineo officiating. Burial will be in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore.
Visitation will be held 2 hours (11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) prior to the service at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.
