Jimmy Lee Krontz, 73, NBHS Class of 1961, of Ottawa

OTTAWA – Jimmy Lee Krontz, 73, of Ottawa, died 10:06 a.m. Tuesday March 22, 2016 at Blanchard Valley Health System, Findlay. He was born February 2, 1943 in Findlay to the late Virgil and Helen (Northrup) Krontz. On August 7, 1965 he married Pat Swope who survives in Ottawa.

Also surviving is a daughter: Laura Krontz of Findlay; and two sisters: Mary Ann  (Charlie) Zeltner of Toledo and Louise Fee of Findlay. He was also preceded in death by a brother: Emerson Krontz and three sisters: Eileen Fee, Clara “Sal” Baird, and Ruth Smith.

Jimmy was a retired Quality Technician with Philips formerly of Ottawa. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam Era. Jimmy was a member of the Ottawa American Legion and Sons of the American Revolution. He enjoyed genealogy.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Pastor Laurie Beaty officiating. Burial will follow in Harman Cemetery, Gilboa with military rites by the Ottawa American Legion, VFW, and Am Vets.

Visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or to St. Paul Methodist Church, Findlay.
