It is that time of year again where the kids are all heading back to school. With everything going on including homework, sports and your evening activities, you may not have thought about scouting. However, it is the perfect time. We are just getting into the swing of things for our scouting year.
Cub Scouts is a family oriented bonding experience for all ages from kindergarten through fifth grade. Pull your kids away from the television and enroll them into scouting. Cub Scouting is full of monthly pack events, such as parades, pinewood derby, camping and many other family type events. In their den meetings they learn to set up a tent, first aid, all about animals and plants, cyberbullying, etc. Even if your son is involved in sports, we will do our best work around other activities.
If you are interested in finding out more about scouting come to our Join Scouting Night at Powell Elementary School Gymnasium on Thursday, September 6th, 2018 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
If you are unable to attend and are still interested in scouting, feel free to contact Eric Trout, Cubmaster at 419.257.3855 (Home) or 419.262.3967 (Cell) or firstname.lastname@example.org
