CPR in the Park
Thursday, June 2; 6 – 7 pm
This is a valuable training program for response during emergencies. Ranger staff, in partnership with the Perrysburg area fire departments, will teach, “hands only” technique. This program is divided into three sessions: 6 – 7 pm, 7 – 8 pm and 8 – 9 pm.

Yoga and Nature Hike
Fridays, June 3 and 10; 10:00 am – noon 
Go on a naturalist-led hike then join a yoga class on the lawn led by certified instructor Jenn McCullough. Cost: $12

Paddle the Pond
Mondays; June 6, 13, 20 and 27; 4:30- 8 pm
Get out on the water for a great family outing, confidence-builder for beginners, or relaxing exercise! An instructor provides an introductory safety and skills session. Watercraft, life-jackets, and paddles are provided first-come-first-served. Enjoy a nature walk while you wait! Last launch is at 7:30 pm. Kayaks are new this year and are funded through a grant by ODNR – Division of Watercraft.

Intro to Rope Rappelling
Saturday, June 4; 9 – 1:30 pm
Join us for a day of rope rappelling fun! After a gear and safety orientation, we’re off to our 25-35 foot cliffs. All safety equipment, instruction and water are provided. Bring a sack lunch and snacks. Participants must be 12 years, or older. Closed-toe footwear only. Access to the cliff tops requires short hikes on slightly uneven terrain. Cost $15, Friends of the Wood County Parks: $10

Exercise is fun when the group laughs together – without humor, jokes, or comedy. This technique can reduce stress and improve immune function, energy, and mood. Outdoors, weather permitting.
