Katherine Jordan, 63, of Cygnet died at 12:01 a.m., Thursday, January 21, 2016, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green. She was born on October 17, 1952, to the late Ernest and Rena (Matthews) Sanford. She married Leon Jordan on October 17, 1970, and they were divorced.
Katherine is survived by her sons: Robert (Annette) Jordan of Bloomdale and Mitchell (Brandy) Jordan of Cygnet; her daughters: Tammy (Eric) Peterson of Jerry City, Melissa (Peter) Bowen of Orlando, FL and Noel (Walter) Marshall of Bowling Green; her brother, Bill (Rita) Sanford of Findlay; her sister, Penny Nichols of North Baltimore; 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Katherine was a homemaker and member of New Beginnings Church, Fostoria.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2016, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, with Pastor William McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore.
Visitation will be held 2 hours (11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) prior to the service at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.
