The Lady Tigers traveled to Vanlue Monday afternoon and secured their first Blanchard Valley Conference win of the 2018 season.
The Tigers broke the ice with two runs in the second inning then blew the game open with nine more in the top of the third. However the Wildcats were not going to go away quietly as they quickly answered with four runs of their own in the bottom of the fourth.
Simone Thompson once again led the Tigers offensive attack with three singles and 4 RBI’s along with Chloe Hopple belting three singles and double and an RBI.
Katelyn Weinandy gets the win in the circle while tallying nine strikeouts in the five inning contest to improve her record to 3-1.
