The Lady Tigers opened up their 2016 season with a road trip to Tontogany on Monday, to take on the always potent Otsego Lady Knights.
A combination of first game jitters and solid Otsego pitching dealt the Tigers a 7-0 loss to start off their 2016 campaign.

On Tuesday, the Lady Tigers opened up BVC play with an impressive performance both offensively and defensively against the Lady Hornets of Cory Rawson.
NB unloaded with a 5 run first inning and never took their foot off the gas, scoring runs in every inning of the 5 inning contest.
The offensive attack was a true team effort with several lady’s in the multiple hit category, Makenna Ray with a double a triple and 5 RBI’s, Makayla Light with two doubles and 5 RBI’s, Jasmine McNett stroked 2 singles a double and 1 RBI, Kelcie Bean 2 singles and 2 RBI’s and Morgan Sams 2 singles 1 double and 3 RBI’s.
Defensively the Tigers were equally impressive, with Kelcie Bean tossing a 2 hit shutout. The lady Tigers defense made several “highlight reel” plays behind her, to keep the Hornets off the score board.
