After nearly a week long weather delay the Lady Tigers were finally able to take the field again and they did so with a vengeance.
The Tiger bats exploded for 23 runs in 5 innings to quickly dispatch the visiting McComb Panthers 23 – 1 in BVC action.
The Tigers offensive display was led by Senior Cheyenne Hernandez going 4-5 with 2 singles, a double, a grand slam and 8 RBI’s. Katelyn Weinandy also went 4-5 with 3 singles a double and 2 RBI’s. The Tigers remained very solid on the defensive side as Hernandez went the full 5 innings to get her first win of the season.
The Tigers travel to Vanlue on Wednesday for more BVC action.
