The Lady Tigers traveled 5 minutes South on Wednesday to do battle with the BVC rival Black Knights of Van Buren. North Baltimore put their foot on the gas right out of the starting blocks and didn’t let up until the final bell rang in the fifth inning with an 11 – 0 tally on the board.
Sophomore Paige Hyatt led the offensive attack with a double, a triple and a homerun finishing just a single away from hitting for the cycle. Bailey Boyer celebrated her return from the “IR” by going 2 for 3 with a couple of singles and Makenna Ray remained hot going 2-4 with 2 singles. Kelcie Bean kept the Black Knight batters off balance all day long from the mound and the Tiger defense stifled every threat that Van Buren managed to put forward.
