North Baltimore High School Softball took to the road for a BVC game with Hopewell – Loudon on Monday afternoon, for a cold and nasty softball game.
The Lady Tigers took a 2 – 0 lead into the 4th inning, when the Chieftains tied the game. In the top of the 7th NB broke the tie scoring one run, but H – L came up in the bottom of the 7th with the win, by scoring 2 runs, winning 4 – 3.
Bailey Boyer led NB with a single and a double; Makayla Light had a single and double and an RBI; Cheyenne Hernandez and Olivia Frost each had 2 singles.
Hernandez was the losing pitcher, falling to 3 – 4 on the season.
NB is 4 – 9 and 3 – 2 in the BVC.
