The North Baltimore High School Lady Tigers play in one of the toughest districts of the OHSAA basketball bracket. On Tuesday evening the girls took their “easy” game, beating the 5 – 14 Ft. Jenning Musketeers, 63 – 18.
Coach Adam Burris said, “Great win for the girls! Thanks to all the fans that came out! Can’t wait to see everyone Saturday night, at 8:00, back in Bluffton, against Delphos St.John!!”
Ft. Jennings did not score until there was about a minute to go in the first half, with the Tigers taking a 40 – 2 lead into the break. All of the ladies saw action for valuable tournament experience, to take into the game with perennial power St. John, under 27 year Head Coach Dan Grothouse. The 14 – 6 Blue Jays will challenge NB Saturday night, so the Tiger faithful are urged to come out and back the girls, as they battle to extend their fine season!
