The North Baltimore High School Lady Tigers (14-7, 7-4 BVC) traveled to Bascom, Thursday evening, to battle Hopewell-Loudon (14-8, 6-5 BVC) for a Blanchard Valley Conference game, with a former MAL (Midland Athletic League) rival.
The Tigers found themselves down 18 to 12 after the first quarter, but rallied in the 2nd quarter to cut the lead to 29 – 27 at the half. NB dominated the third quarter 13 – 6 to take a solid lead of 40 – 35, going into the final quarter. The Chieftains would mount a comeback, but fell one point short, as the Lady Tiger held on for the 56 – 55 win!
