It was a tale of two halves. Vanlue came out to play in the first half and North Baltimore did not, as the Lady Wildcats held a 14 – 13 lead after two quarters.
NB made some offensive adjustments at halftime and stepped up the full court defensive pressure, to rip Vanlue in the 3rd quarter 20 – 2, for an NB advantage of 30-8 second half. Finishing off their first BVC win 43- 22.
Coach Adam Burris said, “It started ugly but I was proud of how the girls ended the game, we dug in deep and finished the game strong. Cassidy Hiser was a huge spark off the bench scoring all 11 of her game high points in the 2nd half. It was a total team effort, we ended up having 9 girls score.”
