The Lady Tigers were finally able to shed their winter layers on Saturday afternoon and play softball in the weather that it was meant to be played. Offensively it was a bit of a slow start but the Tigers were able to take a 2-1 lead into the fourth inning then they exploded for 9 runs in the next three innings giving the Tigers a solid 11-2 victory over Fremont St. Joe.
The Tigers were led by Bailey Boyer with 3 singles, Paige Hyatt 2 singles, and Simone Thompson with a single, a double and 2 RBI’s.
Katelyn Weinandy went the full seven innings in the circle and improved her record to 3 – 0.
