The Lady Tigers started their season on a positive note Monday evening with a 12-5 victory over the Ayersville Lady Pilots.
The Lady Tigers came out hot, putting 3 runs on the board in the top of the first inning. Ayersville tried to fight their way back into the game with a three run inning of their own in the bottom of the second inning, but from there on it was all North Baltimore. With two more 3 run bursts in the sixth and seventh innings the Tigers secured their first win of the season.
Katelyn Weinandy (1-0) went all 7 innings in the circle for the Tigers.
