Thursday the Leipsic Vikings visited The Jungle at North Baltimore High School for a girl’s Blanchard Valley Conference basketball game.
The 9 – 1, 4 – 1 BVC, Vikings ran out to a 30 – 13 halftime lead, picking up the win 59 – 44. NB falls to 6 – 5, 2 – 3 BVC.
NB Stats:
Alivia Light scored 18 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, had 3 steals and made 5 assists;
Leah Lee 8 points, 2 steals, 3 assists;
Katelyn Weinandy 14 points, 11 rebounds;
Simone Thompson 4 points, 5 rebounds.
Leipsic won the JV game 44 – 26.
The Lady Tigers host Upper Scioto Valley on Jan. 9.
