I would like to thank everyone who took the time and the effort to apply for grants, write letters, and purchase a new band trailer. Parents and students surprised me with it at this morning’s (Friday) band camp. I also would like to thank Hancock-Wood for awarding us a grant to pay for it.
We have not had a band trailer in the 10 years I have been director at NB, so this is a welcomed addition. We will have a great and easier way to transport instruments and equipment to and from our Tiger football games this season.I know many parents and students were involved this process. I’m blessed and humbled to live and work in this amazing community. Look for the trailer this fall!

What a nice gift! Only wondering how it will be towed to the events and license plates along with insurance. I remember the band had a nice bus that was all painted up and was designed to hall the instruments and rain coats. Wonder what happened with that!
