WILD ABOUT EYES is a special reading opportunity celebrating the gift of sight. The program will feature guest readers including: Senator Randy Gardner, Representative Tim Brown, Wes Farbach, NW Ohio District Director for Senator Portman, and Tim Bosserman, District Representative for Congressman Latta.
In addition to stories, there will be hands on, interactive activities and gift bags for participating children. Adults present will learn information about children’s vision and ways to keep their family’s eyes healthy and safe.
“Prevent Blindness Ohio” is the only voluntary, not-for-profit health organization dedicated to preventing blindness and preserving sight. It serves all 88 counties, providing direct services to more than 800,000 Ohioans annually and educating millions of consumers about what they can do to protect and preserve their precious gift of sight.
The WILD ABOUT EYES reading hour and activities are funded by the Ohio Department of Health, Bureau of Maternal and Child Health, and Save Our Sight Services.
