“Death: the Final Frontier” is Pastor Ralph Mineo’s sermon topic at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in North Baltimore on Palm Sunday, March 29 at 10:15 a.m. In celebration Palm Sunday (the first day of Holy Week), worshipers will receive palm branches when entering the church. The Junior Choir will open worship leading the congregation in a song titled “Hosanna.” The Junior Choir will then sing an anthem, “Somebody’s Knockin’ at Your Door.” Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:00 a.m.
As Holy Week continues St. Luke’s will commemorate the Last Supper on Maundy Thursday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m. and commemorate the Crucifixion of Jesus on Good Friday, April 3 at noon.
St. John’s Lutheran Church, McComb

The children of the congregation will open worship leading the congregation in a song titled “Hosanna.” The children will also sing an anthem, “Somebody’s Knockin’ at Your Door.” Sunday School begins at 9:15 a.m. (a joint Sunday School with the McComb United Methodist Church).

Members of St. John’s will join with the McComb Area Community of Churches commemorating the Crucifixion of Jesus on Good Friday, April 3 at 7:00 p.m. at the Living Stones Fellowship (7751 US 224 West). Pastor Ralph Mineo will deliver the sermon titled, “By the Cross of Christ.”
