At the dawn of a new school year, a rite of “Blessing of Backpacks” will be included in worship. Students, teachers, school staff of all ages are invited to come forward for a personal blessing, and a blessing of backpacks, notebooks, school equipment, lunchboxes, etc.
Sunday School begins at 9:15 a.m. (a joint Sunday School with the McComb United Methodist Church).
