Lutheran Church News — St. Luke’s (NB) & St. John’s (McComb)

St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, North Baltimore

Sunday, October 25 is both “Church Music Sunday” and “Reformation Sunday” at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in North Baltimore at 10:15 a.m.

“Why Singing Matters” (based on Ephesians 5:19) is Pastor Ralph Mineo’s sermon topic.

The Senior Choir will sing four anthems” “How Can I Keep From Singing?” “The Lord Is A Mighty God,” “Here I Am, Lord,” and “It Is Well with My Soul.” Soloist Emily Meyerson will sing “Just Be Held.”

Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:00 a.m.

Some members of the congregation will participate in the choir at First Lutheran Church in Tiffin, a 15-congregation celebration of Reformation Sunday. Worship begins at 4:00 p.m.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, McComb

“In Our Footsteps” (based on Hebrews 5:6,7,8) is Pastor Ralph Mineo’s sermon topic at St. John’s Lutheran Church in McComb on Sunday, October 25 at 8:00 a.m. The congregation will commemorate the annual “Reformation Sunday.”

Sunday School begins at 9:15 a.m. (a joint Sunday School with the McComb United Methodist Church).

Some members of the congregation will participate in the choir at First Lutheran Church in Tiffin, a 15-congregation celebration of Reformation Sunday. Worship begins at 4:00 p.m.
