St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, North Baltimore
The annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in North Baltimore will be Wednesday, December 24 at 9:30 p.m. with Prelude Christmas music beginning at 9:00 p.m.
The “Christ Candle” in the center of the Advent Wreath will be lit at the start of worship. The Junior and Senior Choirs, and some individuals will sing anthems before and during worship.
Pastor Ralph Mineo’s sermon will be titled “The Dawn of Redeeming Grace.”
Following Holy Communion will be the traditional Candlelighting ceremony which includes the singing of “Silent Night.”
St. John’s Lutheran Church, McComb
The annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at St. John’s Lutheran Church in McComb will be Wednesday, December 24 at 7:00 p.m.
Special music will be part of the service, including two anthems sung by soloist Ed Aller, “Good News,” and “O Holy Night.” The “Christ Candle” in the center of the Advent Wreath will be lit at the start of worship.
Brenden Lee Heistand will be baptized at the beginning of the service.
