St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, North Baltimore

“Desperately Seeking Jesus” is Pastor Ralph Mineo’s sermon topic at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in North Baltimore on Sunday, July 19 at 10:15 a.m.

Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:00 a.m.

On Saturday, July 18 at 9:00 a.m., members decorate the church for Vacation Bible School (VBS). A TIME MACHINE is being constructed for a “Bible Blast to the Past!” Registration forms are available online at http://tinyurl.com/stlukesvbs. VBS (July 26-30) is open to the community.

On Monday, July 20, the “Good News+Amen!” Leadership Team will meet at 7:00 p.m. for a Skype Session with congregational coach, Pastor Dave Daubert, a national church author and consultant.

On Tuesday, July 21, at 7:00 p.m. final decisions for VBS will be made at a “Teacher, Staff, Helper Meeting.”

St. John’s Lutheran Church, McComb

“Desperately Seeking Jesus” is Pastor Ralph Mineo’s sermon topic at St. John’s Lutheran Church in McComb on Sunday, July 19 at 8:00 a.m.

Sunday School begins at 9:15 a.m. (a joint Sunday School with the McComb United Methodist Church)

Beginning Monday, July 20 through Friday, July 24, the congregation is offering an “Adult Vacation Bible School” with the theme “My Favorite Color is Love.” A variety of Bible verses will be discussed. There will also be refreshments, a daily hymn-sing, and a “Community Enrichment Presentation” where various agencies of the community will present what they are doing to color the world, making it a better place. Pastor Mineo will lead the daily Bible Study. The public is cordially invited to attend.  Registration is not required, but helpful (call 419-293-3445 or visit Primrose Flowers in McComb.)
