Margaret Sterling, 71

Margaret L. Sterling, 71, of North Baltimore, passed away at her residence on Friday, November 1, 2024. She was born in Findlay, on June 24, 1953 the daughter of the late William and Leah (Byrne) Gerdeman. On September 19, 1969 she married Douglas F. Sterling who survives in North Baltimore.

Survivors include her husband, a son, Scott (Michelle) Sterling, of Monclova, and daughters, Lisa (Greg) Frost, of North Baltimore, and Molly (Mike) Troendle, of Whitehouse. Her grandchildren, Jessica (Elliott) Hudson, Andrew (Anne) Sterling, Olivia (Clinton) Ebright, Garrett, Maya, Collin, Lauren, and Joshua (Paloma) Rolf, as well as great grandchildren, Charlotte, Colton, Lauren and baby Ebright coming in May. Her brothers, James Gerdeman, and Joseph (Lois) Gerdeman, both of North Baltimore, and a sister Mary (Ronald) Stewart, of North Baltimore, and a sister-in-law, Nancy Gerdeman, of North Baltimore. Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother, William “Bunk” Gerdeman, and a sister-in-law, Patricia Gerdeman.

Margie was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, North Baltimore and formerly worked at Gerdeman Insurance Agency. Margie cherished spending time with her big loving family. She enjoyed family vacations, the beach, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends at her winter home in Naples, Florida.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 am, on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Holy Family Catholic Church, North Baltimore, Ohio with Father Art Niewiadomski officiating. Burial will follow at New Maple Wood Cemetery, North Baltimore

Memorial contributions may be directed towards the American Cancer Society, the Armes Family Cancer Care Center, or to Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Online condolences may be expressed at www.coldrencrates.com. SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore assisted the family with arrangements.
