Maurice A. Allgire, 76

Maurice A. Allgire, 76, of Bloomdale, passed away at 7:58 a.m., October 25,
2018, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green. He was born on January 2, 1942 in Bowling Green to the late Eugene and Virginia (Finch) Allgire.  He married Sharon Morehart on October 2, 1961 and she survives.

He also survived by his sons: Jeff (Stacy) Allgire of Jenera, Nick (Tonya)
Lamb of Rudolph and Bumper (Jamie) Allgire of Bloomdale; his daughters:
Angel (Roger) Sanchez of Findlay and Niki (Kenny) Workman of Fostoria; his brothers: Robert (Paula) Allgire of Bairdstown and Lee Bickmyer of
Fostoria; his beloved 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Maurice was a 6 year U.S. Army Veteran.  He retired from Whirlpool
Corporation after 42 years, and spent 15 years with the Bloomdale
Volunteer Fire Department.  Maurice was an avid fisherman, war memorabilia collector, former softball umpire, enjoyed making cornhole bags, but his greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 28, 2018, at
SMITH-CRATES FUNERALE HOME.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 29, 2018, at
SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore.  Burial will be in Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Township, where full military rites will be conducted by the North Baltimore American Legion Post 539.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bloomdale Volunteer Fire
