Interestingly enough the Mayor did not put the fact that she has contracted with Wood County Sheriffs Dept. in her State of the Village Address and she obviously hasn’t made any comment about it anywhere else. Way to notify your citizens Mayor! It sounds like she is just trying to play it off like it’s not a big deal. For being the ” largest Village in the County with a population of 3369 according to the US 2020 Census” you’d think that she would be speaking to the public rather than staying silent. Lets hope she doesn’t contract with WCSO full time because that would not be good for a busy village that is the largest village in Wood County.
