Myron James Smith, 88, of Findlay and formerly of Bloomdale, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. He was born on September 5, 1927, to the late Fred and Florence (Souls) Smith. He married Jean (Clark) Reinhard on September 17, 1954, in Angola, IN, and she preceded him in death on November 9, 2010.
Myron is survived by his son, Ronald L. (Gail) Reinhard, Sr.; his daughter, Patricia A. Babcock; his grandchildren: Ronald L. Reinhard, Jr.; James M. (Marie) Reinhard, Stephanie J. Babcock, Christopher J. Reinhard and Catherine J. (Jeremy) Pratt; six great-grandchildren: Edward Frias, Michael and Christina Reinhard, Eva and Miles Pratt and Elizabeth Babcock; one great-great-grandchild, Jackson Frias. He was preceded in death by his brother, Vernon F. Smith.
Myron was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy, during World War II and the Korean War. He was privileged to go on a Flag City Honor Flight to Washington D.C. in 2011.
A private family graveside service will be held in Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Township.
