In a break from the grueling schedule of the Blanchard Valley Conference, the North Baltimore High School Tigers (11-3) hosted the Northwood Rangers (1 – 18) in The Jungle.
With a nice NB crowd on hand to honor a couple of NB Athletic Hall of Fame inductees, an exciting one-point win by the JV, the small, but always spirited Tiger Pep Band (“more cow bell“) and Tiger cheerleaders, the boys took care of business, running out to an 18 – 0 lead in the first 6 minutes, to cruise to an 82 – 32 non – league win.

The Tiger Junior Varsity picked up a nice win, in an exciting game, 49-48.
In the pre-game North Baltimore Athletic Hall of Fame induction, Gwen Mauk was honored for her athletics career at NBHS (1964 – 1996), starting as the Girl’s Athletic Association Adviser, then being the first girls basketball coach and finally becoming one of the first female Athletic Directors in northwest Ohio. Dalton Ishmael ’13, was honored for his wrestling career at NBHS, include four trips to state and a Runner-Up Title his senior year. A handful of Hall-of-Famer’s helped honor the new inductee’s.
Next up for NB is a challenging three games in four nights stretch, beginning @ Lakota, Wed. Feb. 7 (non-league); Friday, Feb. 9, HOME with Arcadia (BVC) and Sat., Feb. 10 HOME with Old Fort (non-league) SPAGHETTI DINNER!!!
