Saturday Morning the NB Girls Softball #2 Lady Tigers hosted Haskins #1. After Haskins batted in the top of the 1st inning, the Lady Tigers came to bat, sending 12 batters to the plate and scoring 7 runs. Again in the 2nd inning the Lady Tigers plated 3 more and when it was all said and done, the final score was 14-0 in favor of the Tigers. Defense was evident as Haskins only managed 3 hits during the game even though they put the bat on the ball well. The Lady Tigers amassed 31 hits!! Hitting for the Tigers was:

“We have one more scheduled game left Wednesday night under the lights at Cygnet. I am very pleased in how the girls are coming together as a team and supporting each other. It feels as if we have hit our stride at the right time with the league tournament coming up next weekend.” states Coach Harden. “This win brings our record to 8 Wins, 1 Loss, and 2 Ties.”
