The following year she was hired as a full-time elementary music teacher in the Fostoria City Schools and served in that capacity for 16 years.
She completed a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling at BGSU and graduated in 1996 and was hired by Washington Local Schools as an elementary guidance counselor. In 2008 she was hired by a charter school and provided high school guidance services for the Ohio Virtual Academy based in Toledo. OHVA provides educational services to students all over the state of Ohio in grades K – 12. Needed guidance services were provided to students over the phone, through emails, and at times in person.
Miss Goldner retired in 2010 after 31 varied years in teaching student’s music education and providing guidance counseling to individuals and families.
