1. Main Street Corridor – We received the permit from CSX which means the work will start ramping up on the Main St Waterline replacement. Buckeye Excavating should be getting us a schedule any day and we will publish it immediately

2. EMA Agreement – Included with the council packet is the County-Wide Emergency Management Agreement. All Wood County municipalities contribute to this on a per capita basis. North Baltimore being home to 3432 citizens at .55 per citizen will pay $1887.60.

3. Amplex – As part of the contract with Amplex Internet to locate on the Grant Road Water Tower, the village is to receive internet service for the village offices.

4. Sunshine Law Training –For anyone who needs sunshine law training, Owens Community College will be hosting a sunshine law training event on Friday April 7, 2017 from 8:45am-12:45pm. All elected officials are required to take this training at least once during each term.

5. Dilapidated Houses in the Village – The village is currently working with the county to find funding to raze 9 houses that have been identified as needing to be demolished.

6. Baseball/Softball Meeting – The Public Works Committee will hold an informational meeting on Tuesday February 21, 2017 at 6pm at Village Hall.

7. Concession Stand Upgrade – The village applied for and was awarded a Community Development Block Grant to update the Little League Baseball Field Concession Stand and Restroom in order to be ADA compliant.

8. Hazardous Tree Inventory – The Dept. of Public Works will be identifying & listing hazardous trees within the village right of way that need to be cut down. This list will then be put out to bid in March

9. Rotary Wine Tasting Event – NB Rotary Club will hold its annual wine tasting event on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 6pm-10pm at The Depot. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased from any Rotary Member.

10. EMS Candidate for Hire – Chief Matthes has requested that EMT Becky Walters be moved from the volunteer ranks to the part- time ranks with NB EMS.

Proposed Motion: Recommendation to hire Mrs. Becky Walters as a part-time Intermediate EMT at $11.50 per hour.
