February 20, 2018

MINUTES

I. Pledge of Allegiance

Mayor Goldner called the meeting to order at 5:30 PM and led the Pledge of Allegiance.

II. Roll Call:
Mayor Janet Goldner-Here, Mr. Beegle- Here, Ty Carles-Here, Mr. Engard- Here, Mr. Aaron Patterson- Here, Art Patterson -Here, Ms. Zeigler-Absent, Student Representative- Dalton Teaford, Clerk Kathi Bucher- Here

Mr. Aaron Patterson made a motion to excuse Ms. Zeigler. Second by Mr. Carles. All approved.

III. Approval of the Minutes:

Motion by Mr. Aaron Patterson to approve the minutes of the February 6, 2018 meeting. Second by Mr. Carles. All approved.

IV. Public Participation:
Mr. Lee Holloway- wanted to know why the progression on Eagleville Road has stopped. He has had people out and they tell him it’s the tile. Mr. Aaron Patterson asked to address the situation. He said it is flowing fine he has personally gone out and looked at it. Mr. Art Patterson said that when it is dry, Casey’s will dig up where it is tied in at. Mr. Aaron Patterson suggested a 5 year plan; start with clearing out some trees and fence off the swale. Mr. Holloway agreed that would be a good start.

Dinner on March 22, 2018 for council members at Levi’s Commons.

Add Ordinances 05,06,07,08 tonight
Mr. Carles made a motion to add ORDINANCES 05,06,07,08-2018 to section VIII. Second by Mr. Art Patterson. All approved.

3) Neighborhood Revitalization Grant- Meeting Tuesday March 13 at 7 PM at the Hancock Wood Electric Cooperative. This Grant can fund projects up to $500,000.
4) Water Tower Design Loan Ordinance- design only; Ordinance 2018-01 second reading tonight.
5)Street Sweeper- Ordinance 2018-03 is on the agenda tonight
6)WC Mitigation Meetings- Meeting on March 22, 2018, at 1:00 PM
7) Policy on Tying into the Village Storm Sewer- PW and PPO committees have worked together to come up with changes and being put into Ordinances.
8) Assett Mgt Plan-OEPA requires this for every municipality with a public water system
9) Meeting for teams wishing to use the Village ballfields- Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 6:00 pm
10) Donation of Property- Ordinance to accept the donation will appear tonight.
11) Scout House Service Contract- the Scout House is contracted to the Legion who sponsors the Boy Scouts. Ordinance tonight for its first reading.
12) Rotary Wine Tasting- March 9, 2018 from 6-10pm at the Depot.
