The Varsity boys finished 10th place at the Riverdale Invitational. Daniel Hinkle led the boys with a season best time of 21:38, finishing 36th overall. Andy Burelson finished 38th with a career record time of 21:59. Jesse Vanlerberg was 40th with his season’s best time of 22:06. Jerimiyah Horner finished a few spots behind in 45th with a career record time of 22:38 and Kyle Green rounded out the top 5 with a 25:34, his 2nd best time of the year.
The Varsity girls were led by Attlee Rowlinson’s, 26th place finish with a time of 27:25. Lindsay Crouse finished with a personal record time of 31:10.
The JH boys had two medalists, Camden McCartney cracked the 14 min barrier with a career record time of 13:55, finishing 12th overall. Garrett Williams also took a medal home finishing in 14th place with a time of 14:17. Levi Vanlerberg had his 4th straight career record time with a 16:14 and Rhys Williams had a season best with a 17:01.
The JH girls finished 2nd overall, just behind former MAL rival Carey. The Tigers were led by Ady Reynolds with a 14:21, one of three medalists, finishing 3rd overall. Rylee Fennel also finished in the top 5 with a 15:02, bringing home a medal. Maddie Stufft ran a career record time of 15:20, cracking the top 10 with an 8th place finish. Leah Trout finished in 22nd with a 17:07 and Evelyn Thompson finished in 24th with a 18:02 to complete the scoring for the girls.
