The North Baltimore Cub Scout Pack #372 held their biennial father (or other male) – son Cake Bake & Auction. This year was a tough year for our “celebrity judges” to decide the best cake in ten different categories, from “yummiest appearance” to “best scout theme”.
Have you ever seen a cake that looks like a kitty litter box (including melted Tootsie Rolls for effect) or an edible wooden bucket of popcorn and drink or cakes covered in M&Ms or Skittles?
We had twenty-three participating Cub Scouts bring a wide variety of cakes.
All the cakes got auctioned off and the money went to future activities for the boys to enjoy.
A huge thanks to our “celebrity judges”: Pastor Susan Kronbach from Church of the Good Shepherd, Miss Cheryl Heilman from the North Baltimore Public Library, Margaret Bean, a huge supporter of Scouting & an active scout leader for many years. Another huge thanks to our Auctioneer: Ron Bean, who is also a huge supporter of scouting & an active scout leader and Cubmaster for many years
