FINANCE OFFICER’S REPORT
Council Meeting
Apr 5, 2016
- Income tax collections 2016 vs. 2015 as of 3/31/2016:
*NOTE* I will now be reporting the income taxes collected for EMS (21.5% of total collections) along with the amounts collected for village operations.
- The Bill List from 3/12/2016 – 4/1/2016 is included for council review and approval on the claims ordinance.
- March Great Lakes collections and the March Fund Report will be distributed at next week’s COTW
- The first quarter volunteer Fire and EMS payrolls have been processed. Medical first responder calls for the first quarter were 19 runs total.
- I have billed Henry Twp. for 2015 fire services rendered.
FIRST READINGS
Appropriation Ordinance: Adding $46,250.00 to the Water Capital Improvement budget for Poggemeyer Design to perform engineering services regarding the upcoming main street waterline project. This will be funded by the Water Capital Improvement Reserve Carryover.
SECOND READINGS
- Appropriation Ordinance 2016-07: Adding $1,315,000.00 to the Wastewater Capital Improvement budget for the WWTP Headworks project. The low bid was Peterson construction for the same amount. This will be funded by remaining USDA loan proceeds.
