NB Lady Tiger Golfers begin season with Elmwood Royal Open

The 2018 girls’ high school golf season kicked off with the Girls’ Elmwood Royal Open on Wednesday, August 8^th, at Birch Run Golf Course.

North Baltimore finished in 5^th place.  Gibsonburg’s Sydney Leyerle was the Medalist shooting a 34, 1-under par.  Sydney also finished 13^th in the Div II Girls’ State Tournament in 2017 as a Freshman.

The lady tiger golfers have a young team this year with only 3 returning golfers and 5 new golfers in the program.  Returning players for North Baltimore this season include Seniors Jordan Bucher & Lilly Westgate, and Junior Zoey Beaupry.  New to the girls’ team this year include Junior Jordan Baker, Sophomores Lexi Long, Meghan Thompson, McKenzie Perez, and Freshman Olivia Matthes.
